Is this a new personalized slogan for the youngest PAP candidate Tin Pei Lin? The spoof image is posted on theonlinecitizen facebook. While Ms Tin may not approve of her image being plastered on a tin can, she should appreciate the cutesy witty catchphrase.

After all, a somewhat similar phrase “Yes We Can” was the most memorable phrase in President Obama’s presidential campaign in 2008. That slogan put Presidential hopeful Obama on a winning streak and landed him in the White House. But whether Ms Tin can extend PAP’s winning streak will be a nail-biting unfolding headline story.

The real inspiration for this slogan may well come from this lovable and famed cartoon character Bob the Builder, whose theme song “Can we fix it? Yes We Can!” is familiar to millions of young children and their parents around the world.
